Engler Callaway Baasten & Sraga, LLC is a boutique labor and employment law firm, representing private employers, local governmental entities, municipalities, school districts, and special education joint agreements. Our attorneys have a wealth of experience negotiating public and private sector collective agreements and have sat across the table from most known unions. Our experience ranges from representing employers in traditional labor relations matters, including union organizing, unfair labor practice proceedings, and collective bargaining, to providing day-to-day counseling advice to employers on a wide range of HR issues. We review and draft policies and employee handbooks and advise on best practices. Our attorneys advise on FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, discipline, EEO and related issues. We conduct workplace investigations, as well as assist employers in conducting such investigations.

Additionally, our attorneys have represented public and private sector clients in federal and State court litigation and before the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, the State and federal departments of labor, the Illinois Human Rights Commission, and the Illinois State and Educational Labor Relations Boards.
