
Ms. Lowe earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 2004 and her Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt Law School in 2009. After serving as a law clerk to the Honorable M. Blane Michael on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, she began her legal practice in discrimination law as a Skadden Fellow at Equip for Equality, representing clients in employment-related disability matters. She went on to serve as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR), for 11 years, where her work concentrated on conducting complaint investigations under a variety of federal discrimination laws. Ms. Lowe’s current practice is in special education and student matters and complaint investigations.
